In life, certain principles that will guide you to focus and achieve your goals. One of them is ‘’ We are not in competition’’

Remember, as we are different, so are our goals. Therefore, we are not in competition. Our destinies and destinations are different. You are not in competition with anybody. Your trajectory, route to your destination(destiny), is distinct from anybody’s. Work towards yours. Don’t look at anyone else. 

As cars drive on the road to different destinations, so are we. Therefore, there is no need to increase your speed to meet up with or overtake the other. We're not in competition. We only compete with ourselves to make ourselves better and to enable us to attain our destiny and destination. 

To attain your goals in life, there are certain skills you need. You need to identify those skills, acquire and sharpen them. We are imbued with individual talents which is given to help us attain our goals. You must identify and hone them. 

Because we are not in competition, once your goals are set, work towards them. As you drive along the way, when you get to your destination, you will not see the other cars. So it is with your goals, when you attain them, you won't see the others you started the race with or those you met on the way. Everyone would arrive at their destination at their own pace and time. 

We are not in competition because, at the end of it all, whatever you attain is not shared with anyone, either. It is used for your benefit and dispensed for the benefit of others, if you so wish. 

Remember, life is a personal thing. You can only live yours, not that of others. IF anyone can do it, you too can. Set your mind on the challenge and apply yourself fervently and diligently, while not forgetting to add God to the mix – success will surely be yours.
